Some facts about my treatment:

It made me very sick, sometimes hard to get along with, but worth it in the end.

What I want people to know about me

I love the outdoors and nothing will stop me from enjoying it

My favourite day was

May 13, my last day at the hospital, finished cancer treatments and got to go back home with my family

The worst thing about having cancer

Was being sick and having to lose my leg and half of my pelvis

What do you want to be when you grow up?

A Boat Captain or a cook

My message to other kids undergoing treatment

Be positive and stay strong

If you could have one superpower strength, what would it be?

To rid the world of cancer

If I had three wishes they would be…

There would be no such thing as cancer, to have my leg back, to go on the hunting trip of a lifetime

I’m involved with Coast to Coast because…

I would do anything to help the Janeway Foundation and the Janeway Hospital and anything to do with helping cancer patients is worth it

Our Featured Ambassador

This is Josh Nelson – a childhood cancer survivor. He knows about facing all the challenges of childhood cancer:

“I know first-hand how it feels to be a prisoner in the hospital and endure the surgeries and the endless needles and treatments. I know how it feels to lose my hair, throw up regularly and watch other kids around me earn their wings. I lost a part of my childhood that I will never get back. I know how it feels to look different and to be different. That’s something that I wouldn’t wish for any other kid to go through, and that is why I do what I do.”
