OUR VISION

Our vision is a world Beyond Kids Cancer. As Canada’s leading national charity devoted to fighting childhood cancer, Coast To Coast Against Cancer Foundation ensures receipted donations are invested in improving the survival rate and quality of life of children and their families impacted by cancer.

We raise funds by conducting a series of high quality, memorable, physically challenging, national and regional events that encourage active and healthy lifestyles and engage sponsors, participants, donors and volunteers. From cycling rides to team-building activities, we raise needed funding for worthy childhood cancer charities whose programs support children with cancer and their families.

Where your Money Goes

In 2018, we distributed over $3 million to cancer research and programs in Canada. These organizations are making a difference for children with cancer: hospitals care for children and conduct research into new treatments and cures for childhood cancer; childhood cancer camps help kids and their families forget what they’re going through and enjoy just being a kid again; and many other organizations provide the support programs, including financial, to help families when their children are fighting cancer.

This is Josh Nelson – a childhood cancer survivor. He knows about facing all the challenges of childhood cancer:

“I know first-hand how it feels to be a prisoner in the hospital and endure the surgeries and the endless needles and treatments. I know how it feels to lose my hair, throw up regularly and watch other kids around me earn their wings. I lost a part of my childhood that I will never get back. I know how it feels to look different and to be different. That’s something that I wouldn’t wish for any other kid to go through, and that is why I do what I do.”
