Over $1,250,000 Raised
Since its inception in 2000, Bike for Tykes has raised over $1,250,000 in support of children's charities in the Greater Toronto Area, such as the Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Toronto, and now Coast to Coast Against Cancer.

10 Year Thanks a Million Award 
Bike for Tykes thanks the organizations that have supported the event for 10 consecutive years.  Their support has been a key factor in raising money for children’s charities and we could not have done it without them.  To-date, we have presented the 10 Year Thanks A Million Award to:
Hicks Morley, our presenting sponsor for 2008 and 2009 and 2011; Cadillac Fairview and The Cambridge Group of Clubs, both partners since our first year; Blakes; CIBC; McCarthy Tetrault; and Torys.

Guinness World Record
During the 2009 Bike for Tykes event, in addition to spinning, Chris Vollmershausen from law firm Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP raised money in a whole new way – he set out to become a Guinness World Record Champion by eating the most Ferrero Rocher chocolates in one minute!  Chris tied the record on his first attempt and beat it on the second.  Thanks to Chris, almost $26,000 was raised.  Congratulations Chris, on achieving the Guinness World Record and improving the lives of kids!
