Some facts about my treatment:
My treatment consisted of surgery, radiation, four rounds of high dose chemo and four stem cell transplants. I spent 206 days in the hospital. A side effect of the surger was Cerebral Mutism which took away my ability to talk and move. I was forced to relearn to speak and relearn to walk, something that doctor's didn't think was possible.
What I want people to know about me
I am an honor student, I have a great sense of humour and I love computers.
My favourite day was
On my 14th birthday I was in the hospital and had gotten a fever, but was well enought to come home for my birthday
The worst thing about having cancer
The stereotypes that people place on me based on what I went through. As a result of my treatment I have no hair and porbably won't for the rest of my life. My voice sounds gravely due to the treatments, when I walk I am unsteady.
What do you want to be when you grow up?
I want to be able to give back to all the organizations that have helped me during my journey.
My message to other kids undergoing treatment
Always have a positive attitude
